Megget Reservoir, Scottish Borders. These photos of Megget Reservoir in the Scottish Borders Region were taken on a fine sunny afternoon in March. Megget Reservoir lies in a remote valley above St. Mary's Loch between Selkirk and Moffat and is a very lovely place to visit. It was built to supply water to Edinburgh. Information boards at the dam tell you about the reservoir and it's construction as well as giving some interesting history of the valley, dating back to the times of the Border Reivers. The photos may take a while to load depending on your connection speed.
